Superfutures Design
Jiayun Liao has a diverse range of work experience. In 2018, they started working as a freelance commercial illustrator, where they created artwork and illustrations for the promotion of pop stars and celebrities. In 2019, they worked as an Interior Designer at Alignment International Architecture Design Institute, focusing on creative design and advocating for a critical spirit in architecture. In 2021, they interned as an Interior Designer at ECADI, one of the most renowned architecture design institutes in China, where they were involved in concept development and image collages for various projects. Jiayun then worked as an Interior Designer at Huadong Construction Group and Materials Council in 2021 and 2022 respectively, before joining Superfutures Design as a Junior Designer in December 2022.
Jiayun Liao pursued higher education, beginning in 2016, at Beijing Forestry University where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Furniture Design and Manufacturing. This educational journey lasted until 2020. They then enrolled at the Royal College of Art in 2020 and are currently studying toward a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Interior Design.
