David Frizelle

David Frizelle has a solid work experience in the field of technical leadership and software development. David is currently working as a Technical Lead at Superhero. Prior to this, they worked at Allianz Australia as a Technical Lead, where they successfully led the development of a workers compensation web app for corporate clients. David also contributed to various projects and initiatives using Java and Spring Boot with a focus on Data Warehouse applications.

Before Allianz Australia, David was a Technical Lead at Spitfire Corporation Limited, where they played a key role in designing and developing the Spitfire wealth management platform using Spring Boot, Node.js, REST/GraphQL APIs, Docker, and AWS.

David also has experience working as a Senior Technical Lead at BT Financial Group and as a Technical Lead at Allianz Australia.

Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Java Developer at Milestone Group, where they were responsible for developing the pControl fund platform using core Java, Spring MVC, Kendo UI, jQuery, and HighCharts.

David also gained valuable experience as a Java Developer at Barclays Capital, where they contributed to the development of structured products websites and trading platforms using core Java, ExtJS, Flex, FIX protocol, and Reuters APIs.

Additionally, they worked as a Java Web Developer at Barclays Global Investors, a Java Developer at Avoka Technologies, and held various roles at Paycorp, including Support, Sys Admin, and Developer.

David Frizelle attended the University of Sydney from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCST) degree with a focus on Computer Science. In addition, they earned a certification in Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2020.
