Gaurav Karnik

Gaurav Karnik has worked in the software engineering field since 2011. Gaurav started their career at VMware AirWatch, where they held the roles of Technical Lead and Software Engineer. In 2016, they moved to Uber, where they held the roles of Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer II. In 2020, they moved to Blend, where they were a Senior Software Engineer on the App Platform team. There, they maintained the platform to build complex workflows for multiple loan application services, improved the architecture of the system by migrating away from the legacy monolith into modules and microservices, and built the new configuration based platform for creating customizable applications for loan application services. In 2022, they will move to Superhuman as a Senior Software Engineer.

Gaurav Karnik completed their ICSE in 2003 from Jasudben ML. Gaurav then attended Mumbai University from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a B.E in Computer Engineering. Gaurav then continued their education at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science from 2009 to 2011. In 2014, Gaurav obtained a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
