Verónica Rodríguez Barco

Verónica Rodríguez Barco currently serves as the Regional Superintendent of the Superintendencia de Compañías, Valores y Seguros in Quito since January 2025. In addition to this role, Verónica has been a docente at Universidad Espíritu Santo since August 2021 and has held positions as an arbitrator and external legal advisor at the Cámara de Comercio de Guayaquil from August 2021 to December 2024. Previous experience includes serving as a judge's advisor at the Corte Constitucional del Ecuador and as an associated attorney at Coronel & Pérez. Verónica began a career in arbitration as the secretary of arbitral tribunals at the Cámara de Comercio de Guayaquil from April 2014 to June 2017. Verónica holds a Master of Laws in corporate law from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and obtained a law degree from Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil.
