George Steele

George Steele is an experienced project manager and engineer with a robust background in construction and project management since obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The Citadel in 2010. At Superior Construction since November 2020, George has advanced through roles from Senior Field Engineer to Project Manager. Prior experience includes positions at Zachry Construction Corporation and ST Wooten as well as significant service with the Army National Guard as a 12B Combat Engineer. Additional expertise was gained as an Associate Project Manager at Ferrovial Agroman US Corp, contributing to the I-77 HOT Lanes project in Charlotte, NC. George has also held various engineering roles with SCDOT, focusing on highway and bridge project compliance, and managed construction projects during Operation Enduring Freedom, overseeing over $18 million in construction efforts.
