Steve Summerfelt is a Chief Science Officer at Superior Fresh, LLC since June 2018, where Steve manages scientific research and technological designs to promote efficiency and profitability. Prior to this role, Steve worked at The Conservation Fund Freshwater Institute for over 25 years, conducting aquaculture research and developing systems to improve fish farming efficiency while minimizing the environmental impact. Steve holds a PhD in Civil & Structural Engineering from Iowa State University, an MS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University, and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.
