Mike Young

Mike Young has a solid work history in the IT field. Mike started their career as a Sys Admin at Moyle Construction Company Ltd from September 2006 until December 2010. Mike then joined Compudyne, Inc. as a Solutions Architect in January 2011 and remained with the company until September 2021. Currently, they are working at Superior National Bank as a Senior System Administrator since September 2021 and recently transitioned to the role of VP/IT Manager in June 2022.

Mike Young earned a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Business, Management of Information Systems from Michigan Technological University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. Mike completed the MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure certification from Microsoft in January 2017. Mike achieved the VMware Certified Professional 6 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP6-DCV) certification from VMware in April 2017, followed by the VMware Certified Professional 6.5 - Data Center Virtualization (VCP6.5-DCV) certification in March 2018. In May 2018, they obtained the VMware Certified Professional 7 – Desktop and Mobility certification. Most recently, in July 2020, Mike obtained the Implementing and Administering Cisco Networking Technologies certification from Cisco.
