Andrew Godfrey has been with Superior Rigging & Erecting Co., Inc. since October 2013, where roles include Rigging Sales & Estimating and Project Manager, overseeing structural steel projects in the Southeast. Additionally, Andrew serves as Safety Director, focusing on corporate safety and loss prevention for over 250 employees, which involves employee training, managing the Workers Compensation plan, developing site-specific safety plans, conducting job site safety audits, and managing the warehouse storage program. Prior experience includes positions as a Wholesale and Retail Parts Consultant at John Thornton Chevrolet from 1999 to 2013 and Service Manager at Harley-Davidson of Atlanta from 2005 to 2007. Educational background includes completion of the FMI Project Manager Academy in 2017, studies at Georgia Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2015, and attendance at Tusculum University from 1997 to 1999, with early education at Lithia Springs High School from 1994 to 1997.
