Doris Canen is an experienced professional in taxation, currently serving as Coordenadora Tributacao da Economia Digital at Mulheres no Tributário and as a Pesquisadora at Núcleo de Estudos Fiscais - NEF/FGV Direito São Paulo. Doris also holds the position of Assessora at the Superior Tribunal de Justiça and is a Conselheira at ABDF Direito Financeiro. As a Professor at Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro, Doris teaches an extension course on the taxation of the digital economy. With a long-standing role as a Brazil Country Specialist for IBFD, Doris provides updates on Brazilian tax judgments and legislation. Previous experiences include coordinating projects at Conselho Nacional de Justiça and research roles at both UERJ and Fundação Getulio Vargas.
