Tony is an Emmy Award-winning Cinematographer as well as co-founder and Director of Rising Sun Pictures and Prospective, and co-founder of CINENET Systems Pty Ltd. CINENET Systems Pty Ltd was acquired by the Superloop Group in November 2015, and at the time had built a specialized high-speed international data networks catering specifically for needs of screen and broadcast media industries. The CINENET network is used by movie studios, movie producers, editing facilities, visual effects providers, sound facilities, and DVD producers to create and exchange large digital assets and connect to infrastructure providers. The network interconnects media businesses in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Los Angeles via the dedicated international capacity to CINENET's Los Angeles point of presence.

Tony has a wealth of industry knowledge and experience in digital media. His credits as a VFX Supervisor for RSP include Alfonso Cuarón's Gravity, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, The Sorcerer's Apprentice, The Last Mimzy, The Core, and Harry Potter & the Goblet of Fire. He is a 2010 recipient of an Academy Award for Scientific & Technical Achievement as the creator of the remote collaboration tool cineSync. His deep understanding of digital film became the foundation for the technology spin-off Rising Sun Research (now Prospective).

He has served as a board member on the South Australian Film Corporation, is currently on the board of Ausfilm, and is an active member of both AMPAS the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the Visual Effects Society.

Tony is the Chair of Superloop's Remuneration and Nomination Committee.
