Yuval Peretz has worked for a variety of companies since 2004. Starting as a grad student at Hebrew University Sela's Lab in 2004, they then moved to Fox Chase Cancer Center as a Post Doc Associate in 2009. In 2011, they became a Post Doc Fellow at Hebrew University. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Research Associate at Hebrew University of Jerusalem Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, where they studied hindbrain development in a stem cell-based model. In 2018, they became a Senior Scientist at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center Stem Cells Lab. In 2019, they became a Senior Research Scientist at eggXYt, where they developed CRISPR based solutions for day 0 chick embryo Sexing. Currently, they are the Chief Scientific Officer, Head of Media, and Cell Line Development Team Leader at SuperMeat.
Yuval Peretz obtained a PH.D. in Molecular Biology, Virology, and Biotechnology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2009. yuval previously obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Molecular Biology from the same university in 2005. Before that, they obtained a B.Sc.Agr. in Economics Agriculture from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 2002.
