Carol Van has extensive experience in regulatory compliance and safety design, currently serving as Safety Compliance Manager at Supermicro since September 2011. At Supermicro, Carol supports new product development and oversees worldwide compliance certification for server family products. Prior to this role, Carol worked at Cisco Systems from June 1996 to August 2011, where contributions included serving as Regulatory Compliance Engineer for the ISR Development team and as Test Engineer, managing prototype bring-up and diagnostic testing on multiple product families. Carol also possesses an AS degree in Electronics Engineering from Mission College in Santa Clara, CA, and additional education from UC Santa Cruz Extension.
