Derek Lee

Derek Lee is a Production Engineer at Supermicro, specializing in Python, React, JavaScript, Java, Android, and ML Kit since June 2021. In addition to this role, Derek has contributed as a Board Member for SacHacks since April 2018, receiving the President's Lifetime Achievement Award, and founded Lovelace Hacks, recognized for launching the first women-focused hackathon from UC Davis. Derek's experience includes serving as an Executive Director, co-hosting events with organizations such as Sacramento Kings and IBM, and working as a Software Developer at General Motors, Web Developer, and Infra Systems/Cloud Intern at Chevron. Educationally, Derek holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis, graduating in 2020.
