Kyle Chan

Kyle Chan is an experienced Product Manager at Supermicro and formerly held the same title at SSL (Space Systems Loral) from August 1998 to November 2015. At SSL, Kyle managed the design and procurement of communication and structural panels, issued technical guidelines, and led failure investigations to enhance product quality while adhering to export control regulations. Kyle also maintained product budgets, negotiated long-term agreements for procurement, and evaluated new suppliers. Previously, as a Thermal Engineering Specialist, Kyle led a team in thermal design for commercial satellites, collaborated with cross-functional teams for product optimization, and managed thermal vacuum tests. Kyle holds a Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University, a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
