Max Yen is the current Director of Engineering at SuperMoney. Max has over 20 years of experience in the engineering field, with a focus on web development. Max got their start in 1999 as a Senior Applications Architect with Decision Management Company, Inc. Max then spent 12 years with Nike, Inc., first as a Senior Application Engineer/Team Lead and then as a Senior Applications Architect. In 2014, Max joined LoanNow as a Senior LAMP Engineer. Max led frontend development for LoanNow's internal and public facing websites using AngularJs, PHP, MySQL, MongoDB, and NodeJS. Max launched the LoanNow website in April 2014. Loannow would go on to fund $10MM in micro loans to consumers throughout the US. In 2016, Max left LoanNow to join Dojo Technologies as a Director of Engineering.

Max Yen received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.

Max Yen works with Jim Haley - VP of Partnership Marketing, Andrew Latham - Managing Editor, and Katie Lee - Director of Product. Their manager is Miron Lulic, Founder & CEO. A direct report to Max Yen is and Andrew Oh - Software Engineer.
