Andrew Moncada

Andrew Moncada has a diverse range of work experience. Andrew started their career at The Writer's Den as the Director from December 2008 to June 2012. Afterwards, they worked as a Citizen Philanthropist Associate at Citizen Effect from March 2011 to June 2012. Andrew then joined Fulbright Korea, where they held various roles such as Program Operations Lead, North Korea Defectors Operations Lead, Orientation Operations Coordinator, and Fulbright Grantee from July 2012 to July 2014. Following this, they worked at the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University as a Research Associate from August 2014 to June 2015. Andrew then worked as a Consultant Fellow at Third Plateau Social Impact Strategies from June 2015 to December 2015. Starting in March 2016, Andrew co-founded Caliber Schools and served as the Director of Operations until December 2018. During their time at Caliber Schools, they also worked as the Project Lead for Campus Design & Construction from March 2016 to August 2018. Finally, Andrew is currently employed at Supermove as the Head of Operations since December 2019.

Andrew Moncada has a Masters degree in Education Policy and Management from Harvard University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Political Science and Public Policy from UCLA. In addition to their academic degrees, Andrew has also obtained certifications including a Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business X, an online certification program, which they achieved in September 2014. Andrew also holds a 2nd Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do from the US Amateur Athletic Union, which they earned in June 2007 in San Francisco, CA.
