Alexis Garado

Alexis Garado currently serves as an Embedded Firmware Engineer II at Supernal since November 2023. Previous experience includes roles as an Embedded System Design Tutor at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and as a Software Engineer Intern at Maxar Technologies. While at UC Santa Cruz, Alexis held multiple tutoring positions, assisting in advanced programming, logic design, and computer systems, as well as serving as a Grader for CSE111 and a President and Treasurer at UCSC Engineers Without Borders, leading engineering projects aimed at community service. Additional experience includes contributions as a Software Engineer Intern at Maxar Technologies and a front-end and back-end developer at Tech4Good. Alexis also participated in Slugbotics, focusing on developing SLAM algorithms for autonomous vehicles. Alexis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the Baskin Engineering program at UC Santa Cruz.
