Joshua Cheng

Joshua Cheng is a Senior Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Avionics at Supernal since May 2023. Previously, Joshua served as the Lead Manufacturing Engineer at Virgin Orbit from March 2020 to April 2023, where leadership included managing a team of Manufacturing Engineers, guiding product development from design to full production, and implementing process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Joshua's earlier experience includes roles at Panasonic Avionics Corporation, where projects involved the manufacturing of Antenna systems for commercial aircraft, as well as positions at 3M and HDT Engineered Technologies, focusing on advanced process engineering and mechanical support for military technologies. Joshua holds a Master of Science in Engineering with a focus on Materials and Manufacturing from UC Irvine and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego.
