Michael Shaw

Michael Shaw is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in rotor systems and design. Currently serving as the Manager of Rotor Systems at Supernal since January 2022, Michael previously held various engineering roles at Boeing from June 2008 to January 2022, including Main Rotor Blade Design Lead for the Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft and Propeller Design Lead for the Future Attack Reconnaissance Aircraft. Michael's career began at Pratt & Whitney as a Structural Design Engineer and includes a notable achievement as a winner of the Boeing Philadelphia Rapid Prototyping Competition in June 2012. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
