Prashant Jha

Prashant Jha is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the design and development of electric drive systems, powertrains, and mechanical components across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Drive Systems Design Engineer at Supernal, work involves the design and development of electric drive systems for eVTOL aircraft. Previous experience includes roles at JPL, where Prashant contributed to electric drive units for space applications, and at Faraday Future, focusing on electric drive unit development and leading gearbox design. Additional experience encompasses positions at WEG and Caterpillar Inc., where responsibilities included gear and motor design, drivetrain systems, and continuous product improvement. Prashant holds a Master of Engineering in Mechanical from the University of South Florida and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Visvesvaraya Technological University.
