Ryan Howard

Ryan Howard is an accomplished Airframe Designer at Supernal since October 2021, with expertise in designing over 100 metallic and composite structures while utilizing topology optimization tools and additive manufacturing processes to significantly reduce part weights. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Purdue University's School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, where Ryan was the primary author of a paper presented at AIAA Aviation 2021, and working as an Engineering Assistant at ATA Engineering, focusing on aircraft and satellite design and analysis, including structural and frequency assessments. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from Purdue University and began coaching tennis skills for various levels with the Greater Lafayette Tennis Association before pursuing engineering.
