Thomas Smith

Thomas Smith is a seasoned aerospace engineering professional with extensive experience in systems engineering, software design assurance, and project management across various companies, including Supernal, Virgin Galactic, and GE Aviation. At Supernal as a Senior Software Design Assurance Engineer, Thomas has focused on the Energy Management Systems for concept aircraft, developing system-level requirements and hazard assessments. Previously, at Virgin Galactic, Thomas served as Engineering Manager, overseeing systems engineering interfaces and mentoring junior engineers. Throughout a career spanning from 1996, Thomas has held key roles in avionics and software engineering, contributing to notable projects such as the Dassault Falcon and COMAC C919. Thomas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
