Tom Anderson has worked in the financial services industry since 1996. Tom began their career as an Analyst for A.G. Edwards Investment Banking, followed by a move to Bankers Trust/BT Alex. Brown/Deutsche Bank as an Analyst in Real Estate Investment Banking. In 1999, they became a Financial Advisor at A.G. Edwards. In 2002, they joined Merrill Lynch as a Senior Vice President of Investments, Resident Director, and Midland Complex Sales Manager. In 2011, they were appointed Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management. In 2012, they founded Supernova Technology™ and was appointed Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. Tom authored four books, including the NYT Bestseller "The Value of Debt". In 2019, they founded Thomas J. Anderson Consulting, LLC, where they serve as a Wealth Management Lending Consultant. In 2020, they founded Anasova, a company that provides lead generation tools for financial services companies.
Tom Anderson has a diverse educational background. Tom obtained their MBA from The University of Chicago - Booth School of Business in 2005, with a focus on Finance and General Studies. Prior to that, they completed a Certified Investment Management Analyst program at the University of Pennsylvania - The Wharton School in 2002. Tom also holds a BSBA from Washington University in St. Louis, which they obtained in 1996 with a focus on Finance and International Business. In 2010, they obtained a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor certification from the College for Financial Planning.
