Javier Velazquez Traut

Javier Velazquez Traut serves as a Senior Creative Technologist at Superside since October 2025 and also teaches Immersive Environments (AR/VR) at Universidad de 'San Andrés' since August 2023, focusing on experience design using Unity and Blender. Previously, Javier was the Tech Lead for AR/VR at UNIT9, where responsibilities included bridging technical and creative teams to develop innovative digital experiences. Additionally, Javier contributed as a Technical Advisor at Zonia and held roles at Meta from October 2018 to September 2022, including Business Engineer R&D, where emphasis was placed on AR/VR business applications, and Solutions Engineer, managing advertising clients. Earlier positions include Software Development Lead at Orphidia, Inc., Co-Founder & General Director at CRAN.IO, and Co-Founder & Creative Technologist at masOTROS. Javier holds a degree in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Signal Processing from Instituto Tecnológico de Buenos Aires and completed secondary education at St. George's College in Quilmes.
