Edward Chin

Co-founder | CEO at Supersolid

Edward Chin has worked in the digital industry since 2005. Edward began their career as a Lead Consultant (Strategy) at Analysys Mason, where they consulted on telecommunications and media in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and the United States. In 2008, they took an extended secondment from Analysys Mason to the BBC, where they served as a Strategy Manager in the Future Media & Technology Division and Central Strategy. During this time, they were involved in projects such as the BBC Strategy Review 2009/10, the International VoD strategy, and the Digital Production Public Service Partnership. In 2010, they joined Playfish (acquired by Electronic Arts) as a Lead Product Manager, where they worked on titles such as Pet Society, Restaurant City, The Sims Social, Sim City Social, FIFA Superstars, and Madden Superstars. In 2012, they moved to a start-up company as VP Product, where they established the product management, analytics, and marketing functions. Finally, in 2013, they co-founded Supersolid, a mobile games company of 60+ based in London, UK. Theirgames have been downloaded over a hundred million times around the world and they successfully established innovative partnerships with Shania Twain, Universal Music Group, Paramount Pictures, and World Animal Protection.

Edward Chin attended the University of Oxford, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Modern History.
