Charles (Chuck) Ho

Chuck Ho has worked in the medical device industry since 1994. Charles (Chuck)'sfirst role was Quality Engineer at Ventritex/St. Jude, where they worked with ICD's and had experience with life cycle testing, process validation, transfer molding, LIM, various grades of silicone and elastomer materials testing, deionized water testing (LAL and bioburden), IQ/OQ, system maintenance, and routine monitoring (ie: resistivity). In 1998, they moved to Guidant/CTS as a Quality Engineer, where they were involved in multiple product development projects for OPCAB surgery from design concept to launch. Products included chest/rib spreaders, vaccuum assist and mechanical heart stabilizers, pebax shunts for various vessel sizes, and vein harvest products. Charles (Chuck)'sexperience included design verification, process validation, biocompatibilty, radiation sterilization including early use of VDmax method, and statistical anaysis. In 2001, they joined Sadra Medical, a Boston Scientific company, as a Senior Quality Engineer, where they gained experience with animal tissue, chemical sterilization, nitinol machining/manufacturing, and nitinol material characteristics. Charles (Chuck) was also involved in authoring product specifications, V&V plans, and risk management documents, as well as corporate wide process validation and field action remediation activities. In 2020, Chuck Ho joined Supira Medical as Principal Quality Engineer.

Charles (Chuck) Ho attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1992 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Manufacturing Engineering.
