Daniel Obregon V has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. In 2015, they co-founded Suplos, a company that they are still currently involved with. In the same year, they also became a Founding Partner at Valure Capital, an investment and asset management firm focused on venture capital. From 2012 to 2015, they worked at Parque Arauco as the Head of Finance and Markets - Business Development. Prior to that, they were a Senior Professional Financial Planning and Analysis - FP&A at Scotiabank - Colpatria. Daniel also worked as an International & SME's Credit Analyst at Banco de Bogota from 2010 to 2012. In 2008, they started their career as an Investment Advisor Junior at Minenco. In 2018, they co-founded Plasti-Hogar and in 2019, they co-founded Loro.
Daniel Obregon V has a diverse education history with a focus on business and finance. Daniel completed an MBA, Executive MBA (Global) program at both Columbia Business School and London Business School from 2018 to 2020. During this time, they also obtained additional certifications, including a Python for Managers certificate from Columbia Business School in January 2021 and a Scrum Product Owner Professional Certificate from CertiProf in May 2021.
Prior to their MBA studies, Daniel earned an MSc Master of Corporate Finance degree from CESA from 2012 to 2014. Daniel also pursued a Specialist in Economic Project Valuation degree with a focus on Social Economy and Finance from Universidad de Los Andes from 2011 to 2012.
Daniel's undergraduate education took place at the University of Wollongong from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a specialization in Finance.
