Perry Dowell has worked in a variety of roles in the finance industry since 2000. Perry began their career as a Regional Accountant for European Motor Holdings, where they were responsible for all finance aspects of the Mercedes Benz division. In 2005, they became Regional Finance Director for Ford Motor Company, where they implemented a transformation programme via the introduction of Key Performance Indicators and exception reporting. In 2010, they took on a 14-month contract as Associate Director of Finance & Procurement for South London Healthcare NHS trust, where they drove savings of over £25m in year, with £20m recurring savings. In 2011, they worked as a Management Consultant for McKinsey & Company, achieving savings of over £250m from projects. In 2014, they joined Cloudamour as Finance Director, which was later acquired by RedPixie Limited, where they built a reporting infrastructure and financial/operational systems from the ground up. In 2020, they were appointed Group Finance Director for BlueVenn and worked with the management team in the UK and US to build a forecast model suitable to run the business. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer for JCW Group, providing recruitment solutions and career support for professionals in five core job markets.
Perry Dowell attended Westcliff High School for Boys from 1981 to 1986. Perry then obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Business and Finance at Basildon College of FE from 1986 to 1988. Perry subsequently attended University of Westminster from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a degree in Accounting & Finance. In 2006, they became a Fellow of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
