Daniel Dorr has a long and varied career in marketing. In 1995, they began their career as the Director of Sales and Marketing for Intrusion Detection, Inc. In 1998, they were recruited to Hewlett-Packard (HP) as the Marketing Director to bring a “start-up” mentality to their software business. In 2004, they relocated to Germany to launch HP’s Software security portfolio, and was later promoted to lead their entire Software brand re-launch across 120 countries. In 2009, they were recruited as an Experienced Hire to Procter & Gamble as a Brand Manager to turn around their struggling Puffs business. In 2011, they returned to Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) as the Director of Marketing to lead global demand generation strategy and execution. In 2016, they chose to follow their passion and moved to the outdoor industry, becoming the Senior Director of Marketing for three resorts in the Tahoe region. In 2019, they joined PowerSchool as the Senior Director of Marketing for ERP and Talent Solutions, where they defined strategy, messaging, and go-to-market plans to grow K-12 finance and ERP software business. In 2022, they joined supplier.io as the VP of Marketing.
Daniel Dorr attended LeMoyne College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management Information Systems. Daniel later went on to pursue an MBA in Consumer Marketing from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business.
