Hua Ni

Hua Ni is an IBM Distinguished Engineer and Chief Analytics and Data Scientist, with a career at IBM that began in January 2004, also serving as the Chief Data Scientist for USAID GHSC-PSM and holding various managerial roles. Currently, Hua Ni is the Chair of the Analytics Certification Board at INFORMS and a member of the Board of Directors at the Supply Chain Analytics Institute. Additionally, Hua Ni taught Decision Analytics as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business in late 2019. Prior experience includes positions as a Data Analyst at Capital One, a Research Assistant at GAMS Development Corporation, and an Operations Research Analyst at SAIC. Hua Ni holds a Doctor of Science in Operations Research from The George Washington University and a BS in Mechanical & Electronic Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
