Peter Holmes

Peter Holmes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Peter is currently the Managing Director at Supporting Strategies, where they lead a team of professionals providing outsourced bookkeeping and operational support services. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Finance at T.A. Sciences, where they established financial statements, budgeting models, and management reports. Peter also served as the President of Longmynd Consulting Inc for a brief period. Before that, they were the Controller at Matrix New World Engineering, where they created a finance department and assisted with business entity creation and acquisition. Peter began their career as a Chartered Accountant Candidate at Whittingham Riddell LLP. Holmes also had a long tenure at Airlife Publishing Ltd/Livesey Ltd, where they held various roles including Finance Director and was invited to sit on the Board of Directors.

From 2009 to 2013, they attended Thomas Edison State University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration.

Prior to that, they attended Raritan Valley Community College from 2006 to 2009 and earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Business Administration.

In 1979 and 1980, they studied at the University of Wolverhampton and completed a Foundation degree in Accounting.

In addition to their formal education, Peter Holmes also obtained two certifications. In February 2019, they became a QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor Online through QuickBooks Software, and in January 2019, they achieved certification in HubSpot Sales Software through HubSpot Academy.
