Felipe Pontes

Felipe Pontes has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering.

From 2021 to present, they worked at SupportLogic as a Senior Software Engineer. Prior to that, they were a Software Engineer at the same company from October 2021 to July 2022.

Before joining SupportLogic, Felipe worked at Soshace as a Software Engineer from October 2019 to October 2021.

From July 2018 to February 2020, they worked as a Software Developer at LAB259, where they developed microservices and web applications using Golang, MongoDB, and React. Felipe also provided DevOps support using Docker and Docker-Compose.

In the Laboratory for Technological Innovation in Healthcare, Felipe served as a Researcher and Developer from March 2017 to July 2018. In this role, they developed microservices for a national telemedicine program using Laravel and PostgreSQL. Felipe also provided DevOps support using Docker and Docker-Compose.

Felipe also gained experience at ezhome in 2018 as a Software Engineer, developing internal apps using Django, PostgreSQL, and React.

As a self-employed Software Engineer from 2016 to 2017, Felipe developed and maintained a Django REST API, React/Redux apps, and maintained a MQTT Broker.

Prior to that, they had an internship as a Web Developer at Techvirtual - Design, Produções e Desenvolvimento from August 2015 to August 2016. Felipe was part of the web development team and contributed to the design and modeling stages of the database.

In 2015, Felipe was also self-employed as a Software Engineer, engaging in full-stack development using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.

Felipe Pontes holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, which they obtained from 2020 to 2021. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis and Development from the Rio Grande do Norte Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology, from 2016 to 2018. Earlier in their education, Felipe earned a Technician degree in Web Development from the same institute, studying from 2012 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Felipe has obtained several certifications. In November 2017, they completed a certification in Big Data Analytics and Management from the Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. In February 2017, they obtained a certification in Test-Driven Development from Microsoft. Felipe also holds certifications in Xamarin for Absolute Beginners (June 2016) and Introduction to ASP.NET Core (April 2016), both from Microsoft. Additionally, in March 2015, they participated in the 1st Encontro de Empreendedorismo Inovador de Incubadoras do IFRN and obtained a certification from the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Rio Grande do Norte.
