Wayne Chang

Vice President at Supreme Electronics

Wayne Chang is the Vice President at Supreme Electronics. Prior to their current role, they served as Senior Counsel at Squarespace and Deputy General Counsel & Senior Director of Legal Affairs at Zocdoc.

At Squarespace, Wayne was responsible for all commercial contracts. Wayne worked with commercial leaders to resolve difficult legal issues and prepare templates to help business verticals scale and reduce negotiation cycles, while managing business and legal risks.

At Zocdoc, Wayne was the legal owner of all product initiatives spanning the entire development lifecycle. Wayne advised on the legal and regulatory impact of bet-the-company initiatives, including IP, privacy & data security, consumer protection, advertising, open source and other regulatory compliance. Wayne also oversaw all compliance with privacy & data security regulations, including GDPR & CCPA. Wayne worked with the Security team in companywide initiatives to strengthen security practices and policies.

Wayne Chang received a J.D. from the University of Toronto, a B.A.Sc. from the University of Waterloo, and certification from the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, First Judicial Department in Attorney Admission to State Bar of New York. Wayne is also certified by the California Supreme Court, The State Bar of California in Attorney Admission to The State Bar of California (inactive), and by the United State District Court, Southern District of New York in Attorney Admission to the Southern District of New York. In addition, they hold certification from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US).
