Cody Lipton

Cody Lipton serves as the VP and Head of Commercial Legal at Sure since September 2025. Prior to this role, Cody was Senior Legal Counsel and Commercial Team Lead for the Americas at Darktrace from May 2021 to September 2025, where responsibilities included negotiating SaaS agreements and advising the CEO of Darktrace Federal. Cody's experience also includes serving as Legal Counsel at Cohen & Gresser LLP, focusing on M&A transactions, and as an Associate at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, providing guidance on high-value acquisitions. Early career experiences include a summer clerkship at the United States District Court and an internship with Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer. Cody holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School and a dual Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and History from New York University, graduating summa cum laude.
