Savan Kong

Prior to joining Surefield, Savan worked at Kareo holding various leadership roles, including UX Director, Product Director, Business Operations Director, and finally Entrepreneur-in-residence.

Previously, he worked on the Amazon Kindle as a Design Manager where he supported multi-faceted, high-profile initiatives for the Kindle Fire, e-ink readers, iOS, and Amazon.com properties. In this role he was responsible designing and releasing X-ray pages for the new Kindle Fire HD and shared notes and highlights on Amazon.com. Before Amazon, Savan was the Product Director at Blogtalkradio and the UX Director at Conenza where he designed their white-label social platform and produced schedules for feature teams. Prior to that at Redfin, Savan did early prototype work for the company in 2002, returned later as the first employee in 2004, and then went on to lead design and UX efforts for many years.

Savan holds a bachelor’s degree in digital communication from the University of Washington.
