Deepika Shankar

Deepika Shankar is an accomplished fashion and costume designer with extensive experience across various industries. As the Founder of Urvii by Deepika since October 2021, Deepika has built a prominent fashion brand. Additionally, Deepika has served as a production head and designer in the Telugu film industry, contributing significantly to film productions. Current roles include Designer and Production Head at Star Avtar Retails since February 2018, and Costume Designer for Suresh Productions Pvt. Ltd. since May 2016. Previous experience includes positions as a Designer at Gilwood Fashions and a Costume Designer at Sri Keerthi Films. Deepika's career began with an internship at Seeds Intimate Apparel India Pvt Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology Hyderabad, complemented by foundational education at Hyderabad Public School and Board of Intermediate.
