Paul McGowan

Paul McGowan has extensive experience in the financial sector. Paul most recently served as the Chief Financial Officer at Sureway Employment and Training, where they held this position from August 2018 to the present. Prior to this, they were the Finance Manager at the same company from October 2017 to July 2018.

Before joining Sureway Employment and Training, Paul worked at TAFE NSW Riverina Institute for nearly two decades. Paul held the role of Director Finance and Business Services from October 1998 to September 2017.

Paul's career began at Bush and Campbell Chartered Accountant, where they worked as an Audit Clerk from February 1988 to August 1992. Paul then moved on to Hardys Timber and Hardware as a subsidiary of Boral Timber, serving as an Accountant from November 1992 to August 1994.

In 1994, Paul returned to TAFE NSW Riverina Institute as a Finance Accountant, a position they held from December 1994 to May 1997. Paul also briefly worked as an Accounts Receivable Officer at the same company from September 1994 to December 1994.

Before joining TAFE NSW Riverina Institute, Paul spent a year at Rail Services Australia as a Management Accountant from May 1997 to October 1998.

From 1986 to 1987, Paul McGowan attended Yanco Agricultural High School and completed their Higher School Certificate (HSC) without obtaining a degree.
