Matthew Knarston

Matthew Knarston has extensive experience in various roles and industries. Matthew is currently the Director of Business Applications at SureWerx since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Director of PMO at GroupHEALTH Benefit Solutions from 2020 to 2022. Before that, they worked as an M&A Integration Consultant at The Restaurant Group plc in 2019 and as a Business Transformation Consultant at Inmarsat from 2018 to 2019. Matthew also served as a Senior Engagement Manager at The Poirier Group from 2015 to 2018 and as a Project Manager | Senior Associate at KPMG Norway from 2013 to 2015. Matthew began their career as a Supervisor at KPMG New Zealand from 2010 to 2013.

Matthew Knarston has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Accounting, Finance, and Economics from the University of Otago. Prior to attending university, they studied at Auckland Grammar School. Matthew has obtained several additional certifications, including Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 2020, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in 2015, PRINCE2 Practitioner from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2014, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification in 2014, and Chartered Accountant (CA) from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand in 2013.
