Jennifer Schneider, MD

Jennifer Schneider, MD has an extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Jennifer is currently the Co-founder and President of Surf Bio, a company they started in 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University starting in 2019. In 2015, they served as part of the Clinical Advisory Panel at the California Institute for Regenerative Medicine.

Between 2018 and 2020, Jennifer worked as an advisor and consultant for Stanford StartX and other healthcare companies, providing guidance on strategy and development plans. Some of the companies they advised include Glooko, Encellin, Thermalin, and MAUI Imaging.

From 2016 to 2017, Jennifer partnered with Insulet Corporation as an Omnipod5 Partner, focusing on developing an automated insulin delivery system. Jennifer also served as the CEO and Co-founder of AGC (Automated Glucose Control), LLC from 2014 to 2017, leading the successful exit of the company to Insulet Corporation.

Their earlier work experience includes practicing orthopedic surgery, specializing in hand surgery, at Palo Alto Medical Foundation. Jennifer was one of the founding orthopedic hand surgeons at PAMF and developed the hand surgery practice.

Jennifer Schneider, MD attended Harvard University where they earned a Bachelor's degree. Jennifer then pursued their medical education at Georgetown University and completed their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Additionally, they undertook the Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program with additional training in Hand Surgery at Stanford University.
