Anna Smee

Anna Smee is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in the fields of education and youth employment. Currently serving as Interim CEO at Surf Life Saving GB and Non Executive Director at REAch2 Academy Trust, Anna also holds the position of Director at Awe & Wonder and is a Leadership Fellow at the Society of Leadership Fellows, St George's House, Windsor Castle. Previously, Anna was the Managing Director at Thrive Approach, overseeing the strategic transformation of an award-winning EdTech business, and served as the founding CEO of the Youth Futures Foundation, where a £90 million youth employment initiative was developed. As CEO of UK Youth, Anna led efforts that significantly benefited young people across the UK. Her early career includes roles such as Director of Ventures at The Young Foundation and Managing Director at Hundred Consulting, where Anna contributed to various sectors through innovative strategies. Anna holds an MBA from London Business School and additional qualifications in investment management and education.
