Nora Beqaj is a business operations professional with experience in strategy development, customer experience consulting, and business function management. Nora is currently employed at Surfboard, and previously held positions at The Nest by Webhelp and City Pantry.
At The Nest, Nora was responsible for developing the go-to-market strategy and winning the first-ever startup customers. Nora also consulted and delivered long-term customer experience strategies for seed to series C startups. In their role, they managed all business functions involved in The Nest programme, from marketing to operations, to ensure proper integration, implementation, and compliance with the levels of operational services expected by the clients. Nora was also accountable for the P&L, budget and sales/account planning.
At City Pantry, Nora successfully delivered an "on demand" product on time and on budget with a strict deadline. Nora worked closely with the sales team to immediately close prospective customers after our biggest competitor in the B2B food delivery space left the UK market. Nora also launched a feature to enable more customer control during the order process that saw a 13.6% uptake in the first month of its release. In addition, they collected feedback and ran discovery with restaurants to deliver a feature that increased order acceptance rate by 28%. Nora also worked closely with the Head of Customer Experience to provide the Customer Care team with the technical tools they needed to enable our on-demand delivery solution. Alongside their Product Manager role, Nora also led the company’s Diversity and Inclusion workstream to ensure City Pantry is made a safe, inclusive and equal place to work for all its employees.
Nora Beqaj has a Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Sociology & Social Anthropology from Dalhousie University.
