Taylor Paul has a diverse work experience in the media and action sports industries. Taylor began their career at SURFING Magazine, where they served as Editor In Chief from October 2011 to June 2014. Taylor then transitioned to an Editor at Large role at the same publication from June 2014 to January 2017.

In 2014, they also started working as a Freelance Writer in the action sports field.

From April 2015 to August 2017, Taylor worked as a Project Manager for Waves For Water, managing clean-water projects and writing social media captions.

In July 2015, they joined Stance Socks as a Copywriter, responsible for creating campaign assets for web, social media, and product descriptions. Taylor'swork included projects such as the underwear launch, Stance Run, Stance Baby Product Launch Kit, Star Wars collaboration, and the Summer 17 line. Taylor stayed with Stance Socks until August 2017.

Taylor then became a Founding Team Member at Awayco, leading the brand development of the company from March 2017 to March 2020.

From June 2020 to October 2023, they worked as the Director of Stab Premium at Stab Magazine.

Currently, Taylor Paul is the Brand Director at Surfline\Wavetrak, Inc., starting in November 2023.

Taylor Paul earned a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration/Management and Spanish from San Diego State University, where they studied from 2002 to 2007.
