Emma Haydocy

Emma Haydocy currently serves as the Florida Policy Manager for The Surfrider Foundation since May 2022. Prior to this role, Emma held the position of Executive Director at Florida Bay Forever Save Our Waters Inc. from February 2020 to April 2022. Emma's earlier experience includes working as a Membership Coordinator for the Islamorada Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Center and as an Outreach Coordinator for Florida Bay Forever. Emma also interned with the National Park Service from June 2015 to June 2019, focusing on preservation education and park ranger duties, including developing interpretive programs. Additionally, Emma taught Spanish to children at Lango Asheville and worked as a Self Help Program Specialist for Mountain Housing Opportunities, Inc. Emma earned a Bachelor of Arts in History/Political Science from Warren Wilson College between 2010 and 2013.
