Julien Hédou has a diverse work experience. Julien is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Surge, a position they have held since January 2022. Before that, they worked at Stanford University School of Medicine, where they held two roles. From September 2018 to August 2020, they were a Research Assistant focusing on Machine Learning & Bioinformatics. Then, from June 2020 to February 2023, they worked as a Research Data Analyst. In 2019, Julien had a Bioinformatics Internship at Illumina. Prior to that, they were a Deep Learning Research Intern at Sanofi from March 2018 to August 2018. Julien Hédou began their education in 2010 at Saint Louis de Gonzague-Franklin, where they obtained their Baccalauréat in the field of Science in 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they attended Lycée Louis-le-Grand, specializing in PCSI/PC*. Following that, Julien enrolled at École Polytechnique from 2015 to 2018, pursuing a degree in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Entrepreneurship, resulting in their Diplôme d'ingénieur. In 2018, they further enhanced their education by pursuing a Master of Science in Biomedical Informatics at Stanford University, which concluded in 2020. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Neural Networks and Deep Learning from Coursera in May 2018.
