Nicholas W.

Nicholas W. is currently serving as a National Aspiring Principals Fellow at New Leaders, where the focus is on preparing equity-focused teachers for principal roles. Since September 2022, Nicholas has held the position of Assistant Principal of Instruction at Mastery Schools and participated in the Surge Academy Fellowship through the Surge Institute until May 2023. Previous experiences include being the National Manager of Learning & Instruction at Breakthrough Collaborative, where responsibilities included leading curriculum development and evaluation. Nicholas has also worked at KIPP Philadelphia Schools in various roles, including Director of College Placement and Career Advisor, delivering college and career readiness guidance. Earlier experiences include serving as Site Director at Breakthrough of Greater Philadelphia and positions such as Literacy Support Teacher and Dean of Students. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Cairn University and is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Educational Leadership at Bank Street College of Education.
