Darren Cook

Darren Cook has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Darren started their career as an Electronics Technician in the United States Navy from September 1989 to September 1993. Afterward, they worked as a Developer/Interface Designer at Wizard Software Development from November 2010 to June 2011, where they created fully animated application UIs using WPF and VB.NET and also handled data storage and retrieval using SQL queries and stored procedures.

Following this, Darren joined IDD - Interactive Design & Development from June 2011 to June 2012 as a Developer. Their responsibilities included utilizing C#, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, and Photoshop for both development and design tasks. Darren developed custom website user controls for a proprietary CMS and created graphics and styles for client application skinning.

From June 2012 to October 2014, Darren worked at Teleworks as a Software/QA Engineer. Here, they worked on the Summation 360 application, a proprietary utility-billing platform based on an MVC architecture in .NET. Darren added new functionality, debugged and maintained legacy code, and implemented changes/extensions using C# based on customer requirements.

Darren's next role was as a Technical Consultant at Meridium from October 2014 to January 2016. Darren wrote custom application extensions using Visual Basic.NET, worked with SQL Server and a proprietary query tool, and gathered data for implementation tasks and reporting within the Meridium application.
