Zach S.

Zach S. has a strong background in web development, with experience starting in 2012 as a Web/Interactive Developer at Zocalo Group. In this role, they developed various applications using JavaScript, PHP, and Angular, as well as customized platforms such as WordPress and Shoutlet. Zach also received an award for animation from the American Pixel Academy.

From 2014 to 2015, Zach worked as a Senior Front-End Developer at Productive Edge. Zach then became a Freelance Web Developer at FCB Chicago in 2016, where they created a single-page application using React.js.

In 2016, they joined NCSA as a Senior Front-End Engineer, working on front-end development projects. Zach later joined Blick Art Materials in 2019 as a React Developer.

In 2020, Zach became a Senior Web Developer at EON Clinics, where they worked until 2022. Zach then joined Surge - a Catalyte company as a Full Stack Developer. Currently, they are working at General Dynamics Information Technology as a Web Developer Advisor, starting in 2023.

Throughout their career, Zach has also been involved in various volunteering and leadership roles, including being a co-founder, board member, and CTO at Learnapalooza, as well as a volunteer at CoderDojoChi.

Zach S. began their education in 2002 at Westwood College-Dupage, where they pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design. Zach completed their studies in 2003. Following this, Zach continued their education at the same institution, enrolling in the Bachelor of Science program in Web Design and Multimedia in 2004. Zach successfully obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in 2005.
