In 2012, they became an Associate Manager at Applebee's NHI before being promoted to the role of General Manager at Applebee's Bar and Grill in 2014. During their tenure there, they optimized profits by controlling food, beverage, and labor costs. In 2018, Michelle joined BJ's Restaurants, Inc. as a Senior Manager, where they were responsible for store performance, budget management, and employee development. Michelle then moved to Surge Staffing in 2019, initially as a Client Support Manager and later as a Client Support Vice President.
