Omar Singh has a diverse work experience. Omar started their career at Teach For America in 1999, as a Special Education Teacher and Speech Therapist. Omar then moved on to Jando Trucking in 2003, where they served as President until 2010. From there, they joined Surge Transportation in 2010, also as President.

Omar Singh's education history includes various academic achievements and certifications. In 1999, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from George Mason University. Omar later pursued a Master's degree at Georgetown University from 2001 to 2003. In 2015, they attended Stanford University for the Stanford Latino Entrepreneur Leaders Program. During this time, they also obtained a certification from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Additionally, Omar has obtained certifications such as Certified Coach and Referee from USA Boxing, Inc., and a Commercial Driver License (CDL) from the Virginia Department Of Motor Vehicles.
