Jake Michaelson

Jake Michaelson serves as the Vice President of Product Management at Surgenex since June 2024, focusing on business development and marketing strategy. Prior to this role, Jake held various positions at MiMedx from September 2017 to January 2024, including Sr. Director of Clinical Evidence, where responsibilities encompassed analyzing the competitive landscape and overseeing clinical activities in advanced wound care, plastic surgery, and orthopedic markets. Jake's tenure at RTI Surgical® from February 2013 to September 2017 involved leadership in marketing for the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery division as Senior Product Manager, along with prior roles in product management and project management. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Medical Sciences from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh.
